![]() ![]() Jimi Hendrix being relegated to the main menu was sad, as were the exclusions of the Kinks and the Doors, two INCREDIBLY popular bands during this era, and ones that were mentioned in pre-release statements and reviews. Mafia III does a good job of representing the 60s, although I do personally wished they'd included some songs and not included others: but this is the result of the 1960s being home to such a broad range of music, that it's hard to pick a short list of the decade's defining tunes and artists. ![]() As someone who loves 50s music, I'd say that Mafia II did an excellent job of picking songs that encapsulate that era of music. The 50s and 40s had plenty of good musicians and songs, but they belonged to a smaller selection of genres. As someone who has grown up listening to music of the 20th century, 1980s and earlier, the 60s (and 70s) have always been my two favorite decades of music, because there was just so much different music. ![]()
